We're nearly half way there already...

Delores had told us about a good sale in a shop in Basildon so we got up early on Saturday and went bargain hunting. I screwed my nose up when Liam said "Shall we go to Ikea now?" - he sold it to me by saying "We're halfway there now - we may as well!"

So we went to Ikea at Lakeside, near Grays, then next door to Costso.

"Shall we go and visit Nanny Pat? We're half way to Dagenham now!"

From Nanny Pat's, "Shall we go and see the West Ham Stadium? We're halfway there already!" Its all about learning! I might never have known there was a Bobby Moore Statue at West Ham as well as at Wembley! It was my first pilgrimage to Upton Park, although Megan has been with Liam twice this season.

Then we were still half way to lots more places that remind Liam of his roots. So we did a drive by his old school...

...and the house that Bill and Delores lived in Forest Road (or is it Row? can't quite remember), Romford when Liam was young.
We eventually got in at about 4.30 - we'd left to go to a sports shop sale at 9am, but ended up halfway to every where!
