Pe'er Pans Playground, Sarfend

We love half price wrist bands in our family! And with Helen staying with us, she makes the perfect fun fair companion! The rides are split into 3 categories - easy peasey, a bit scarey and scare you to death rides! Tonight, Sam and Leah both moved up a category (its by height) so Sam got to go on the scariest and Leah on the middle range rides! For Sam, this meant that the first ride he ran to with Liam, Megan and Helen was Rage! Have a look:

Yes, Helen and Liam took my 5 year old son on this ride! No wonder he hid behind a bush when Helen and Megan went on the Sky Drop next! I'm surprised he wasn't rocking in the corner! Luckily he wasn't TOO traumatised and was brave enough to go on most of the rides.

By then end of the night, it was definitely Helen and Liam who looked the darker shade of green!

For Leah, not only could she go on the small AND middle sized rides, but she could go on her own instead of being accompanied by an adult - another big milestone for us! Our days of feeling silly in the flying elephants ride are over! I love independent children!

well done for riding on the Rage at Southend. I got scared just looking at the video. I bet you had more fun watching those who went on the scary rides turning green and feeling sick than if you had gone on them yourself. You also looked really cool in your Sheffield United shirt. xxx Nannie
