Our north-meets-south family started in 1997! Liam's friend challenged him to find a girl to go on a double date with and I was the lucky girl who got whisked off to play pool on Canvey island! Definitely unforgetable!
Our family has a constant discussion about whether its bath or barth, the Blades or the Hammers, Sheffield or Essex, but for now we have northern children...although this may not last too much longer! They can however, sing a mean "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles"! It brings a tear to Liam's eye!
We've lived in Brentwood, Essex and Sheffield but for now (!) we're settling in Danbury, Essex...
Why a blog? We talked to the kids about their family history in FHE, and so this is how we're keeping ours! Sam chose the title - he got excited when we talked about journals 'cause some one in Dora the Explorer has a field journal. If its good enough for Dora, its good enough for us!
Ruth and Liam are happy you visited our blog. Please feel free to snoop around and leave a comment if you so desire! Ruth will be doing most (if not all the blogging) since Liam doesn't even know how (and that's the way he likes it).
